The Senate confirmed Doug Burgum to serve as secretary of the interior by a vote of 79-18.It is now teeing up final votes for Chris Wright’s nomination to be secretary of energy and Doug Collins’ nomination to be secretary of veterans affairs.
If both of those nominations clear procedural votes tonight, they’ll get a final vote in the Senate early next week.
