WATCH: Biden Staffers “Screaming at the Press” to Stop Questions as Brandon Makes “Weird Faces” in Wild “Clown Show” Moment

On the evening of Monday, January 13, a press conference held by the Biden administration regarding the California wildfires descended into chaos, as staff members appeared to raise their voices at White House reporters who were attempting to pose questions about the situation. This incident understandably elicited a significant reaction on social media.

The press conference coincided with President Biden’s announcement of a disaster declaration related to the wildfires. He stated, “Today, President Joseph R. Biden, Jr. has authorized additional disaster assistance for the State of California by increasing the level of Federal funding for emergency efforts initiated in response to the wildfires and straight-line winds that began on January 7, 2025, and are ongoing.”

The statement elaborated on the assistance to be provided, noting, “Under the President’s directive today, Federal funding for debris removal and emergency protective measures, including direct Federal assistance, has been raised to cover 100 percent of the total eligible costs for a duration of 180 days, as determined by the State within the first 270 days from the onset of the incident period.”

Additionally, President Biden expressed his condolences regarding the devastating fires, stating, “Our hearts ache for the 24 innocent lives lost in the wildfires across Los Angeles. Jill and I are praying for them and their families. We are profoundly saddened by the destruction wrought by the unprecedented wildfires currently affecting Southern California.”

He stated, “I am regularly updated on the extensive efforts to combat the wildfires in Los Angeles, and I have instructed our team to swiftly address any requests for additional federal firefighting support. Under my guidance, hundreds of federal personnel, along with specialized aerial and ground resources, have been deployed to California to assist in firefighting operations and aid affected communities. My Administration remains steadfast in its commitment to supporting survivors, and we will utilize every available resource to address the urgent firefighting needs as wind conditions are expected to worsen. To the courageous firefighters and first responders who are tirelessly working to control these fires and protect lives: our nation is deeply appreciative. You exemplify the finest qualities of America, and we owe you our gratitude.”

During the press conference on Monday night, President Biden appeared disengaged as his staff members raised their voices in an attempt to silence the press. The RNC Research account shared a video of the event, remarking, “Biden sits and makes faces at the press while his aides YELL at them to exit the room following his briefing on the wildfires. Less than a week until Biden no longer occupies that space.” Similarly, conservative commentator Nick Sortor remarked on the same video, stating, “🚨 NOW: Biden’s staff are YELLING at the press to stop them from questioning him about the California fires, while Biden makes odd expressions as if he is uncomfortable. This chaotic administration will conclude in under a week.”

One additional poster remarked, utilizing the same video segment, “Staff members of President Biden were observed forcefully interrupting, elevating their voices, and yelling at the media for inquiring about the wildfires in Los Angeles. How dystopian is this situation?” In a similar vein, another individual commented, “Is this believable? Biden remains seated, making faces at the press while his aides are shouting at them to exit the room after his briefing on the wildfires.”
