Anheuser-Busch, the American beer giant, announced a major expansion of its commitment to domestic manufacturing with a $600 million investment across its U.S. operations in 2025 and 2026. This investment is part of the company’s “Brewing Futures” initiative, which focuses on job creation, workforce development, and community impact. The new investment doubles the company’s previously planned $300 million for 2025 alone, marking a significant step in enhancing its operations nationwide.
The investment will be allocated to three key areas within the Brewing Futures program. First, Anheuser-Busch will focus on upgrading its breweries. This includes implementing advanced technology systems, improving campus facilities, enhancing supply chains, and expanding production and packaging capacity. These upgrades will directly support popular brands, including Michelob ULTRA, which has rapidly become one of the nation’s best-selling beers.
Additionally, Anheuser-Busch will open 15 new technical skills training centers at its facilities across the U.S. These centers will provide advanced training in technical fundamentals, digital tools, and management systems, aiming to upskill more than 90 percent of the company’s American manufacturing workforce over the next five years. The initiative will also involve partnerships with technical trade schools to address local skills gaps and create clear career pathways for future talent.
The third component of the initiative focuses on providing career opportunities for veterans. Anheuser-Busch is continuing its collaboration with the Manufacturing Institute’s Heroes MAKE America program, offering resources and credentials that translate military training into manufacturing skills. By 2026, the company plans to expand this initiative through a new hiring program designed to highlight veterans’ skills, already leading to a 25 percent increase in resume submissions. This $600 million investment demonstrates Anheuser-Busch’s long-term commitment to strengthening American manufacturing and supporting its workforce.
