BREAKING / Co-founder of American Conservative group DEMANDS Vice President JD Vance use the 25th Amendment to REMOVE TRUMP

A co-founder of The American Conservative has publicly suggested that Vice President JD Vance consider invoking the 25th Amendment amid ongoing debate over U.S. policy toward Iran. The comments, made by Scott McConnell on social media, reflect growing discussion within some political circles about leadership and decision-making during the conflict.

McConnell’s remarks come as criticism and differing viewpoints emerge regarding the administration’s handling of tensions with Iran. While some voices have raised concerns about the direction of U.S. policy, others continue to support the current strategy, highlighting divisions both within and across political groups.

The 25th Amendment provides a constitutional process for transferring presidential powers if a president is deemed unable to carry out the duties of the office. It requires the vice president and a majority of Cabinet officials to agree on such a determination, and in some cases, Congress may also be involved in the process.

At this stage, McConnell’s suggestion represents an individual opinion rather than an official policy move. There has been no indication from Vice President Vance or administration officials that such a step is under consideration, and the situation remains part of a broader political debate.

“My advice to Vance: Announce your support of 25th amendment transition,” Scott McConnell, co-founder of The American Conservative, wrote on X on Sunday.
