The decision to cancel ICE reservations was made by a front office manager who worked for the hotel in question. It was not the policy of the hotel or its owners to deny a stay at the hotel to anyone.
Hilton takes any discriminatory actions by its franchisees with the highest degree of seriousness for obvious reasons. It, however, does not directly control the hiring and firing decisions of personnel at the hotel in question.
When Hilton became aware of the problem, it immediately took action and got in touch with the hotel owner who has apologized and taken responsibility for the actions of their front office manager.
Hilton is one of the best managed companies in the world. Its CEO, Chris Nassetta, is one of the most outstanding CEOs in the world. I know that he is highly respected by @realDonaldTrump and the current administration.
