Biden Conspired With His Justice Dept. Ahead Of Mar-aa Lago Raid:Emails

Well, well, well.

In an interview earlier this week, former Vice President Kamala Harris delivered what may be one of the most brazenly implausible claims to emerge from the Biden administration: that its Department of Justice was truly “independent.” The remark came during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live, where Harris pointed to the handling of the Epstein files as proof of that supposed independence — a claim that immediately raised eyebrows.

This is, after all, the same Justice Department that conducted early-morning raids on pro-life activists, labeled concerned parents at school board meetings as potential domestic extremists, and reportedly flagged attendance at the traditional Latin Mass as a possible sign of radicalization. It also surveilled Senate Republicans and aggressively pursued then–former President Donald Trump. Taken together, those actions hardly resemble a DOJ operating at arm’s length from political power.

Against that backdrop, newly reported emails suggesting coordination between the Biden White House, Attorney General Merrick Garland’s Justice Department, and the National Archives over the Mar-a-Lago search only deepen skepticism. According to Chad Mizelle, former chief of staff to Attorney General Pam Bondi, internal communications show White House officials actively discussing the handling of Trump-related documents with DOJ and NARA — until the conversation abruptly moved “offline.”

Mizelle told The New York Post that the emails indicate direct White House involvement in what he described as an unprecedented law enforcement action against a political rival. He recalled that once a White House official suggested taking discussions off email, communications suddenly stopped. While the publication could not independently verify the emails, another source reportedly confirmed their authenticity, lending weight to long-standing concerns about political interference.

Those concerns are further reinforced by recently disclosed DOJ documents showing that FBI agents warned of weak probable cause before the August 2022 Mar-a-Lago raid — a move that ultimately solidified Trump’s path to the 2024 GOP nomination. Ironically, Biden’s attempt to corner his opponent on classified documents later boomeranged when a special counsel found Biden himself had improperly stored classified materials, including in his garage.

In short, Harris’s claim of DOJ “independence” collapses under even minimal scrutiny. The emerging paper trail only strengthens the perception that the Biden administration oversaw one of the most aggressive political weaponizations of federal law enforcement in modern history — a legacy that many Americans had already concluded long before Harris took her seat across from Jimmy Kimmel.[/read]
