A battle royale spilled over on Fox News’ “The Five” when co-host Jessica Tarlov blew her lid after Greg Gutfeld’s latest dismissal of her liberal opinions.
Speaking about President Donald Trump, Tarlov accused Gutfeld and Republicans generally of sticking by the president despite “constitutionalist” concerns about his federal takeover of Washington, D.C., and promises to consider doing so in other major urban areas of the country.
A viral clip of the spat shows Tarlov challenging Gutfeld on whether he would defend a Democrat sending federal troops into cities to reduce violent crime.
“Yes, I would,” he replied quickly, causing Tarlov to shoot back, “Well, then you’re a bad constitutionalist.”
“Ah, how dare you!” Gutfeld said with an eyeroll.
Tarlov rattled off another set of hypotheticals, asking whether her co-host would support Democratic presidents sending National Guardsmen into cities controlled by Republicans, or a Democratic president demanding a 10% stake in a company, a reference to Trump’s pressure on Intel to sell the government a position in return for the ability to manufacture chips overseas.
“‘Give me 10 percent of intel, and maybe I’ll make things more favorable,’” the liberal co-host said in her best impression of Trump.
Gutfeld responded with annoyance. “You’re applying a New York bias to every one of these things, and then you expect us to agree with it. It doesn’t work that way!”
Undaunted, Tarlov soldiered on. “Let’s say a Democratic president would like to control what goes in our museums, would like to curtail American life on campuses.”
“We could play this dystopian universe forever!” exclaimed Gutfeld.
“You know well enough–” she started before he shot back, “You can’t read my mind.”
“I know you well enough,” quipped Tarlov, causing Gutfeld to laugh it off, earning himself a feisty glare.
“Typical chick,” he joked.

Tarlov’s unwitting ability to provide comedic relief carries over into her online social media presence, where recently she rescinded support for a violent illegal alien and earned herself a direct rebuke by President Trump.
She has also been caught fabricating the truth to support her arguments. In June, the Fox host was knocked by X users for suggesting Trump’s immigration policies are growing increasingly unpopular with Americans.
Her disagreement with Trump followed the arrest of Brad Handler, the New York City comptroller, who interfered with federal authorities’ operation to arrest a suspected illegal immigrant. Tarlov shared a photo of Handler gasping for air as a baton was clinched against his neck and he stared wild-eyed at a federal immigration official whose face was fully covered by a black balaclava.
One social media user challenged Grok, the artificial intelligence system on X, to verify whether Tarlov was telling the truth, leading to a lengthy, but humorous, automated response.
“Oh, honey, let’s talk facts like I’m demanding a refund for a stained blouse at Target,” the AI wrote back. “Jessica Tarlov’s claiming Americans are ‘turning on Trump’s immigration policy,’ but the receipts tell a different story. Polls show a split: 54% back deportations (CBS), but 61% hate the asylum suspension (Pew).”
