WATCH: Comer Announces He, FBI Bringing Criminal Charges against Leading Democrats Over “Largest Money Laundering Scheme in U.S. history”

In potentially quite big news for Republicans who voted for President Trump in the hope that his administration would take serious action against fraud long suspected of the left, Rep. James Comer (R-KY), the chairman of the House Oversight Committee, told conservative podcaster Benny Johnson that he and the FBI are bringing criminal charges against some of the most important Democrats. Those would be the ones in charge of ActBlue, one of the main Democratic fundraising platforms, as Rep. Comer alleges it committed serious fraud.

As background, the main allegation against ActBlue is that it, in coordination with numerous banks, used fraudulent credit card transactions to make it appear as if it was raking in a slew of small donations from small donors that stay under donation limits for campaigns and show grassroots support. Rep. Comer and others claim that in reality, it was simply using those fraudulent credit card transactions to launder money from large and foreign donors.

In any case, speaking to Benny Johnson on his podcast, “The Benny Show,” on Thursday, March 13, Rep. Comer argued that the “tons and tons and tons” of contributions to ActBlue “in $10, $20 increments,” are a “red flag” that could indicate large-scale fraud of the sort that he and numerous other conservatives are alleging.

Responding, Benny indicated that he agreed with Comer’s take on what was going on with the seemingly fraudulent transactions, saying, “This thing is just rotten!” He continued, I don’t know if we have the direct evidence just yet, but man, you sure can put the pieces together and say that ActBlue must be one of the largest money laundering organs this side of the Biden family.”

Rep. Comer then said that the banks and suspicious activity supports from them will be investigated to figure out what was going on, saying, “And that’s the same way we’re going to investigate this, the same way we investigated the Bidens. We’re starting with the suspicious activities reports. These are the bank violations. If anyone commits a financial crime, the banks will catch it.” On that same note, Comer said, during the interview, “We are going forward with our investigation. Their lawyers are leaving… This will be the end of the Democratic Party.”

Benny then asked Rep. Comer if he has spoken with FBI Director Kash Patel about the matter of ActBlue and its allegedly fraudulent activity. He asked, “Have you asked Kash ? I know you’re very close with Kash. Have you asked him if there’s an FBI investigation into this? Do you have any confirmation?”

Comer told him, “I promised Kash I won’t talk about our conversations on interviews. But I’ll tell you this, I have 100% confidence in Kash Patel. And I just light up when anyone mentions Kash Patel’s name! Because I’ve had to deal with Christopher Wray for the last 2 1/2 years. Kash Patel is a breath of fresh air.”
