Apple announced a historic $500 billion commitment to the U.S. economy, following a meeting between President Donald Trump and CEO Tim Cook. This initiative, described as “an extraordinary new chapter in the history of American innovation,” will unfold over the next five years and includes plans for an advanced AI server manufacturing factory near Houston.
Additionally, Apple will double its Advanced Manufacturing Fund from $5 billion to $10 billion and establish an Apple Manufacturing Academy in Detroit. The company aims to hire 20,000 new employees focused on research and development, silicon engineering, artificial intelligence, and machine learning, reinforcing its long-standing investment in American innovation and manufacturing.
