UAE evacuates citizens, residents from Iran

Abu Dhabi: The UAE has successfully evacuated a number of its citizens and residents from the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Emirates News Agency (WAM) reported on Friday.
The operation was carried out in coordination with Iranian authorities and relevant agencies, as part of the UAE’s ongoing commitment to ensuring the safety and security of its citizens and residents.
In parallel, the UAE is engaging in intensive diplomatic consultations with relevant parties and strategic partners, focusing on ways to support de-escalation efforts and promote regional peace and stability.
The UAE reiterated that diplomacy and dialogue remain the only viable path forward to achieve stability, justice, and prosperity for the peoples of the region.
