Air Fryer Ribeye Steaks

Preparation Time: 10 minutes

Marinating Time: 30 minutes (optional)

Cooking Time: 10 minutes

Total Time: 50 minutes

Servings: 2

NOW TRENDINGS:

Ingredients:

  • 2 ribeye steaks (about 1 inch thick)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons steak seasoning (your favorite blend)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

Instructions:

1. Preheat the Air Fryer:

  • Intensity: High
  • Time: 5 minutes

Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).

2. Season the Steaks:

  • Intensity: Low
  • Time: 5 minutes

In a small bowl, mix olive oil, steak seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Pat the ribeye steaks dry with a paper towel and rub the seasoning mixture evenly over both sides of the steaks. Allow the steaks to marinate for 30 minutes if time allows.

3. Place Steaks in the Air Fryer:

  • Intensity: Medium
  • Time: 2 minutes

Place the seasoned ribeye steaks in the preheated air fryer basket. Make sure they are not touching to allow proper air circulation.

4. Air Fry the Steaks:

  • Intensity: High
  • Time: 8 minutes (for medium doneness)

Cook the ribeye steaks in the air fryer for 8 minutes for medium doneness. Adjust the time according to your desired level of doneness and the thickness of the steaks.

5. Check for Doneness:

  • Intensity: Low
  • Time: 2 minutes

Use a meat thermometer to check the internal temperature of the steaks. For medium-rare, aim for 135°F (57°C), for medium, aim for 145°F (63°C), and for medium-well, aim for 160°F (71°C). Add additional time if needed.

6. Rest the Steaks:

  • Intensity: Low
  • Time: 5 minutes

Remove the ribeye steaks from the air fryer and let them rest for 5 minutes before slicing. This allows the juices to redistribute, ensuring a juicy and flavorful steak.

7. Serve:

  • Slice the ribeye steaks against the grain and serve immediately. Optionally, drizzle with any accumulated juices and serve with your favorite sides.

8. Enjoy:

  • Enjoy your perfectly cooked and flavorful air fryer ribeye steaks!

Note:

  • Adjust the cooking time based on the thickness of your steaks and your preferred level of doneness.
  • You can customize the seasoning blend according to your taste preferences.
  • For a nice sear, you can quickly sear the steaks on a hot pan for 1-2 minutes before placing them in the air fryer.
