President Joe Autopen managed to book another gig in a friendly environment — nothing less than “The View,” of course — where his Thursday appearance proceeded to break down into incoherence and muddling just like his failed presidency. So you could say it went exactly as most Americans thought that it would.
During a segment meant to showcase his legacy, Biden delivered a halting and repetitive speech on infrastructure and education, frequently stumbling over his words throughout the remarks. “They’re all the the the… projects, the benefits,” Biden began, before spiraling. “How do you lead the world without having the best infrastructure? How do you lead the world without having the best healthcare in the world? How do you lead the world without having the best education system in the world? How do you lead the world without having the best education system in the world? How do you lead the world when you don’t have that done?”
The babbling moment even appeared to leave the Democratic apparatchiks on The View dazed and confused — on their way to what will probably wind up being the most poorly rated show of their season, considering that virtually no one wants to see Biden, much less hear him try to speak coherently.
What in the world? Here’s a “how do you” question: How do you, as a journalist, not notice this man was a disaster and not in control of his faculties when moments like this one had literally been happening for the duration of his four-year term? And then, if you do notice it, how do you not report it or ask questions about it or, in the case of some ‘journalists,’ write books after Biden’s out of office, claiming, ‘Oh gosh, we missed the biggest story ever about his declining mental capacities?’
What a scandal. What a joke. What an insult to the public these people are supposed to be serving. It’s no wonder the American people would trust a cobra before they’d trust most U.S. media outlets. But more than that, perhaps, shame on Jill Biden for allowing the husband she supposedly loves to be controlled and abused like that. Shameful.
