Vice President JD Vance was greeted by pro-Ukraine protesters during a Saturday ski vacation in Vermont with his wife and children.
Protesters against Vance could be seen lining up the Route 100 in Waitsfield while the Vice President was in the Green Mountain State with his family this weekend. Earlier this week, Vance’s visit to Sugarbush Resort was announced prompting protesters to organize opposition over the administration’s policies.
On Friday, Vance and President Donald Trumpattacked Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskyby accusing him of not being thankful for U.S. aid to his country amid the Russia invasion. Moreover, Trump claimed that Zelensky was “gambling with World War III.”
Shortly after the fight, Zelensky was asked to leave the White House without signing the rare Earth minerals deal, which was the whole purpose of his visit to Oval Office.
Vance faced criticism for his role during the argument because the tense exchange in the Oval Office started with the vice president attacking Zelensky.
