On December 16, 2024, a shooting at Abundant Life Christian School in Madison, Wisconsin, left two dead, six injured, and the community devastated.
The attack occurred during a study hall, with alarms and a chilling lockdown announcement: “This is not a drill.” Sixth-grader Breken Ives described the chaos, saying, “Everybody started freaking out.”
