Delicious Recipe for Lasagna Soup
This Lasagna Soup has all the delicious flavors of traditional lasagna but in a warm and filling soup. With its delicious cheese topping and soft noodles, you won’t even notice it’s not the traditional casserole!
List of items needed to make a recipe.
For the broth:
1 pound(450g) of ground beef or Italian sausage
1 little onion, diced
3 pieces of garlic, chopped into small pieces.
1 can of crushed tomatoes (28 ounces)
1 can of diced tomatoes (14.5 ounces)
4 cups (1 liter) of chicken or beef broth
1 cup of water (if needed, to make it thicker or thinner)
2 teaspoons of mixed herbs commonly used in Italian cuisine
1 teaspoon of dried basil
1 teaspoon of dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon of red pepper flakes (if you like it spicy).
Add salt and pepper according to your preference.
Regarding the noodles:
8 lasagna noodles, broken into small pieces.
For the Cheese Topping:
1 cup of ricotta cheese
1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
1 tablespoon of fresh parsley or basil, chopped (if desired, for decoration)
