The “Big Wave” has officially hit the water. New, high-resolution satellite imagery has confirmed what President Trump announced over the weekend: the Iranian Navy is being systematically wiped off the map. As Operation Epic Fury enters its third day, the “invincible” Iranian fleet is looking more like a collection of burning shipwrecks.
Following a series of devastating joint U.S. and Israeli strikes, the evidence of “annihilation” is undeniable:
President Trump confirmed that nine Iranian naval ships—including “relatively large and important” vessels—have already been sent to the bottom of the sea.
Satellite photos from Bandar Abbas and Konarak Naval Base show massive plumes of black smoke rising from the harbors. At least three surface vessels are confirmed sunken, including a Jamaran-class corvette and an Alvand-class frigate.
Beyond the ships themselves, Trump noted that Iran’s Naval Headquarters has been “largely destroyed,” effectively blindfolding the regime’s remaining maritime command.

While the President celebrated the initial sinkings, he made it clear that the hunt is still on. Secretary of War Pete Hegseth reiterated that the mission is “laser-focused”:
The goal isn’t just to “damage” the navy; it’s to ensure it no longer exists as a threat to international shipping or U.S. assets.
Following General Dan “Razin” Caine’s directive, the U.S. military is “hunting down the rest.” As Trump put it: “They will soon be floating at the bottom of the sea, also!”
Hegseth noted that Iran has used its navy as a “conventional gun” to the world’s head for decades. That gun has now been dismantled.
