BREAKING: Reports of U.S. Army Helicopters Over Caracas
Reports circulating online claim large-scale military activity may be underway in Caracas, with witnesses alleging dozens of helicopters flying over the capital and multiple explosions heard across the city.
According to these accounts, helicopters believed to be U.S. Army CH-47 Chinooks were seen operating over Caracas. Some reports suggest the aircraft could be associated with the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment (the “Night Stalkers”), though this has not been independently confirmed.
There are also claims that Generalissimo Francisco de Miranda Air Base—home to Army Aviation—may have been struck. Separately, witnesses report at least twelve explosions across different parts of the city.
