? DEVELOPING: Authorities in India have uncovered a massive fake diploma operation, and the scale is staggering.
Officials say the number of forged documents could exceed ONE MILLION, with reports indicating that some people using these fake diplomas may have found work in Western countries.
From the press conference, investigators revealed the network operated through multiple agencies across several locations, with key agents facilitating the fraud.
Authorities named Jasmine and Shajeesh as central figures in coordinating the operation, helping move fake credentials through different regions.
So far, 10 people have been arrested, including:
• Sibashish
• Bani
• Manesh
Officials say this is far from over, and further arrests are likely as they dig deeper into how widespread the operation really is.
If even a fraction of this is true, it raises serious questions about credential verification, immigration screening, and how easily fake qualifications slip through international systems.
