Chuang has a track record that many on the right view as biased. Notably, he ruled against Elon Musk and his company, Tesla, in a case involving the cryptocurrency Dogecoin (DOGE), sparking controversy. Additionally, his decisions have consistently sided against President Trump, most notably when he ruled against the President’s executive order to implement the travel ban — a move that many conservatives saw as a lawful and necessary action to protect national security.

The ruling against the travel ban remains a point of contention, with critics arguing that Chuang’s decision undermined the President’s authority and obstructed his ability to protect the American people. This decision, among others, has fueled a growing distrust in Chuang’s impartiality, with many seeing him as part of a broader judicial resistance to the Trump administration’s policies.

In response to these concerns, I took action months ago. I filed Articles of Impeachment against Judge Chuang, a move that many believe was necessary to hold him accountable for his perceived political bias and judicial overreach. Given his history, it’s no surprise that his involvement in the Bolton case is seen as yet another potential miscarriage of justice in the making.

The reality is that this is not the first time a judge with a clear political agenda has been allowed to preside over a case with major national implications. The increasing politicization of the judiciary is a serious concern for those who believe that judges should remain impartial and uphold the law, regardless of their personal beliefs or political affiliations.

The assignment of Judge Chuang to the Bolton case only intensifies the scrutiny surrounding his judicial record. His history of rulings against conservative figures, especially President Trump, has made him a lightning rod for criticism. The fear now is that his involvement could lead to further politically motivated decisions that undermine the integrity of the legal process.

This situation is not good. As we continue to see a growing trend of judicial activism, it’s clear that more must be done to ensure that our courts remain fair, impartial, and committed to the Constitution. The need for judicial reform has never been more urgent.
