🚨 Brooklyn Mass Shooting: 3 Dead, 8 Wounded at NYC Restaurant Lounge 🚨
In the early hours of Sunday, August 17, 2025, tragedy struck at the Taste of the City Lounge in Crown Heights, Brooklyn, New York City. Around 3:30 AM, multiple gunmen opened fire inside the crowded restaurant & hookah lounge.
👉 Casualties Confirmed:
• 3 men killed (ages 19, 27 & 35)
• 8 others wounded (ages 19 to 61, men and women)
⚠️ What we know:
• NYPD recovered 36–42 shell casings at the scene.
• A firearm was also recovered nearby.
• Multiple shooters involved.
• No arrests yet — suspects remain on the run.
NYPD Commissioner Jessica Tisch confirmed this is now one of the deadliest shootings in NYC this year. Officials are urging anyone with information to come forward.
This mass shooting in Brooklyn comes as city leaders continue to claim “record low gun violence” in New York.
