BOLTON SLAMS TRUMP’S APPROACH TO PUTIN AHEAD OF ALASKA SUMMIT
Former National Security Advisor John Bolton is raising red flags about President Trump’s upcoming August 15
meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Alaska.
Bolton warns that:
- Hosting Putin on U.S. soil risks legitimizing a “rogue leader” and giving him a diplomatic win.
- Letting Putin present his Ukraine peace plan before Zelensky could weaken Ukraine’s position.
- The meeting might give Moscow the upper hand before serious negotiations even start.
The Alaska summit is expected to focus on ending the war in Ukraine-but reports say Putin’s terms may include Ukraine giving up territory and limiting NATO support.
