Hulk Hogan has reportedly died. He was 71 years old. The news was first reported just before 12 noon on Thursday (July 24) by TMZ.
Hulk Hogan was one of the most familiar faces in the history of the WWF (and WWE) wrestling world, and in all of pop culture in the ‘90s.
TMZ says first responders reported to his home in Clearwater Florida for what was described as “cardiac arrest.” Rumors had been swirling in recent months that Hulk Hogan was in poor health, but his family had mostly denied those rumors.
Rumors about the 71-year-old’s health started earlier in the day after YouTuber Bubba The Love Sponge claimed during a stream that the wrestler was “in the hospital” and “might not make it.”
His rep had previously told TMZ in May that Hulk simply needed a “little fusion procedure.”
And Hulk—who tied the knot with Sky Daily in 2023 and was previously married to Jennifer McDaniel and Linda Hogan—is no stranger to a procedure or two, as he previously stated he’s had around 25 surgeries.
