Although nothing serious, Pray for President Trump!?

WHITE House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt has revealed the truth behind Donald Trump’s bruised hand and swelling ankles.

The 79-year-old president sparked some concern when he was spotted with concealer on his hands covering up discolored skin on Wednesday.

Leavitt explained that Trump had noticed “mild swelling” in his lower legs and was evaluated by the White House medical unit, which found “no evidence of deep vein thrombosis or arterial disease.”

Instead, doctors determined he has chronic venous insufficiency (CVI), or blood pooling in his veins, a condition Leavitt described as common among individuals over the age of 70.

As for the bruising on Trump’s hand, Leavitt said it was “consistent” with irritation from “frequent handshaking and the use of aspirin.” She concluded by stating, “the president remains in excellent health.”

Leavitt said at the end of her opening remarks, in part, “I know that many in the media have been speculating about bruising on the president’s hand and also swelling in the president’s legs. In the effort of transparency, the president wanted me to share a note from his physician … all results were within normal limits.”

Her statement continued, “Recent photos of the president have shown minor bruising on the back of his hand. This is consistent with minor soft tissue irritation from frequent hand-shaking and the use of aspirin.”

Donald Trump’s Health: Concerns Tied to ‘Swollen’ Ankles

Concerns about President Trump’s health resurfaced this week after images showed visible swelling in his ankles and a bruised hand, which had been masked with makeup. In response, Leavitt shared a physician’s letter stating that Trump had experienced “mild swelling” in his lower legs but was evaluated and cleared of serious conditions.

In April, President Trump’s doctor released an official memo regarding the commander-in-chief’s health after he underwent an annual physical under the care of Captain Sean Barbabella, who serves as the president’s physician
