The FBI is offering a $50,000 reward for information on a man who allegedly fired his gun at federal law enforcement officers near a farm in Camarillo, California, U.S. Attorney for the Central District of California Bill Essayli said.
Tensions escalated between protesters and U.S. Border Patrol agents near the farm during an immigration raid, with a CBS News Los Angeles photographer observing tear gas canisters and less-than-lethal rounds being deployed into the crowd. The Ventura County Fire Department said paramedics took four people to the hospital and treated three others at the scene.
In a statement provided to CBS News, the Department of Homeland Security said that its agents were serving a warrant at a marijuana facility.
