Somehow, 2 young girls survived – found clinging 30 feet up in a tree after being swept away near the Guadalupe River.

Rescuers say the water rose 20 feet in just 37 minutes – swallowing roads, homes, and entire families.

The girls were discovered in Comfort, TX, barely hanging on. Not far from where 4 more bodies were recovered.

It’s being called a miracle. But officials say the death toll could still rise.

Texas is still under water. And the storm season’s just getting started.
