In a bold appearance on Fox News, Attorney General Pam Bondi hinted that she may charge Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) for the derogatory remarks she made about former Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) head Elon Musk.
As we reported, Crockett delivered her initial comments during a nationwide call with the far-left group “Tesla Takedown,” which describes itself as a “peaceful protest platform” that, despite being tied to violent protests and vandalism.
Addressing the assembled activists, Rep. Crockett, however, said she wanted Elon to be “taken down,” which many observers interpreted as a direct threat of violence. Threatening Musk, Crockett said, “On March 29, it’s my birthday. All I want to see happen on my birthday is for Elon to be taken down.”
Beginning her remarks, the attorney general stated, “You know, after she said that about Elon, she said, Well, I didn’t mean violence, but however, your words have consequences. And what happened after she said that about Elon Musk, she’s a Texan in her in her own home state.”
After she said, “This morning, three explosive devices were found in Austin, Texas, ” she needs to unequivocally denounce the violence. She must apologize immediately, not only to all Texans, but to our country, to the American shareholders of Tesla, because she is promoting violence.”
Continuing, the same user wrote, “While career bureaucrats funnel billions into DEI circuses, transgender operas, and Afghan poppy fields, Musk’s reforms at the Department of Government Efficiency have clawed back $1.9 billion in stolen taxpayer funds. Real leadership requires confronting the swamp—not enabling its violent fringe.”
