**Liberal Man:** I am on day 21 of my Austin Capital sit-in.I am sitting in until Donald Trump is impeached, convicted, and removed. I’m sitting here with my lovely friend Melody, an organizer from Hands Off. So, Melody, why don’t you tell me a little bit about why you’re here?
**Melody:** Well, I’m here just to give you a little bit of support today, make sure that you’re fed and all that. I mean, you had chess, so I couldn’t help myself but sit down.
**Liberal Man:** Well, I really appreciate it because it is people like you that makes this possible. It helps me know that I’m not alone whenever people come and visit me. So, I’m taking a little bit of a break from reading after I finished Autocracy Inc. I’ve been reading some really heavy books, and it is a marathon and not a sprint. So, today I’ve been really just focusing my energy on playing chess, unwinding a little bit, and having lovely conversations as I do every day. We just spoke with a traveling couple who said they were from… where were they from?
**Melody:** They claimed New York State, but they lived in Kentucky.
**Liberal Man:** Right! Which I find funny. But it’s so interesting, all the different kinds of characters that we meet. But no matter what, everyone has a story to tell. And, you know, even though they said that they couldn’t stay in one place, they said that the protest were wherever they were. So, it’s amazing hearing the stories of so many varied people. I’m really feeling like I’m learning a lot. It’s been really humbling.
**Melody:** I heard that they were going to a protest on the 14th in Sacramento, which I thought was awesome.
