2/2 WATCH: Letitia James Goes Berserk in “Delusional Meltdown” of a Press Conference after Trump Admin’s Latest Moves Against Her

AG James, in any case, launched into a tirade of a press conference over the Trump Administration’s decision of the Trump Administration to cut out waste by no longer continue making “Payment to the state of New York and to states all across this nation, it is unacceptable, unconstitutional, ultra bias[ed].”

Continuing, she insisted that DOGE, in trying to cut out waste and abuse from the government, is acting like it is above the law, and thus AGs like her must fight it. She said, “They have exceeded their authority, and so it’s important that attorneys general representing our respective States stand up and enforce the rule of law.”

Building on that with much the same point, she went on to insist that Trump and Musk don’t have the authority to make those funding changes and that her office will continue to fight them, saying, “Because Elon Musk, individuals at the Treasury and the President of these United States is not above the law, and we will continue.”

She then inisted that she and her fellow blue state attorneys general had been preparing for such a fight in the courts against Trump, though she claimed that it’s not what they wanted. She said, “You know, as attorneys general, we’ve been we’ve been preparing for this. This is not the outcome that we wanted.” Watch her here:

Posters on X (formerly Twitter) had a field day with the clip. One, for example, wrote, “Ouch, With Trump stopping payments to her office, Leticia James is once again on the warpath to get Trump. New Yorker’s, once again, will need to open their wallets to fund her vendetta’s. As it look like the taxpayers in the other 49 states will not.”

Chiming in as well, conservative X personality Benny Johnson wrote that AG James was getting delusional in her tirade, saying, “Let’s check in on Letitia James…Surprise Surprise. She’s throwing her finger around and screeching over Elon Musk, President Trump, and DOGE for cutting New York funding. That’s all folks, same ole delusional meltdown.”
